No — your site stays live on your current host while we build an identical copy on SankoHost. We only flip the DNS once we've verified everything works correctly on the new server. During the DNS propagation window (typically 15 minutes to a few hours), traffic gradually moves across — visitors see either the old or new server, both serving the same content. There is no downtime window.

The minimum we need is FTP/SFTP access to your current host and database credentials (or a cPanel login, which gives us both). If your host provides cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin, a temporary admin login is the easiest. For VPS/cloud migrations we'll need SSH access. We treat your credentials with full confidentiality and discard them once the migration is complete.

Most standard cPanel-to-cPanel migrations complete within 4–8 hours from when we receive access. Larger sites (50GB+), complex multi-site setups, or custom server configurations may take 12–24 hours. We'll give you an estimate after you WhatsApp us with your site details. We always confirm with you before making any DNS changes.

After — always. Never cancel your old hosting before the migration is complete and your site is live on SankoHost. Wait until DNS has fully propagated and you've verified everything is working correctly, then cancel your old plan. We'll tell you when it's safe to do so.

Yes — WooCommerce stores, Magento installations, PrestaShop, and custom PHP ecommerce apps are all supported. We take extra care to verify payment gateway configurations, SSL, and checkout flows after migration. We recommend scheduling ecommerce migrations during low-traffic periods to be safe, though there is no downtime.

We do thorough post-migration testing before touching DNS. If something is missed and you notice an issue after going live, WhatsApp us — we'll fix it at no charge. Your old hosting stays active throughout the process so we can always roll back DNS if needed. We don't consider a migration done until you confirm everything is working.

All plans — shared hosting, Cloud VPS, Storage VPS, Cloud VDS, and Dedicated Servers. VPS and dedicated migrations are handled via SSH and may involve additional server configuration work (setting up a web server, PHP, databases from scratch), which we include in the free migration service.
